Itinerary for Shri Char Dham Yatra Ex-Dehradun
- Day 1: Dehradun to Barkot (135Km / Approx 6-7 Hr Journey): Pickup from your location in Dehradun and drive to Barkot. After reaching Barkot, the rest of the day is free to relax and store your energy for the Pahad (Hill) Yatra of Yamunotri the next day. Night Stay: Barkot
- Day 2: Barkot to Yamunotri Dham (36 Km / Approx 1 Hr Journey): Early morning drive to Jankichatti/Phoolchatti, a trek of 6 Km starts from here to Yamunotri Dham. By reaching Yamunotri Dham, you can complete your rituals and come back to the parking, and the driver will take you back to the Hotel in Barkot. Night Stay: Barkot
- Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi (90 Km / Approx 4 Hr Journey): Early morning, after breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi, including sightseeing at Vishwanath Temple & Others. Check into the Hotel and take a rest. Night Stay: Uttarkashi
- Day 4: Uttarkashi to Gangotri Dham (100 Km / Approx 4-5 Hr Journey): Early morning drive to Gangotri Dham via beautiful Harsil Valley. On arrival at Gangotri Dham, take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges, which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform your rituals and Darshan, and after that, relax for some time in the lovely surroundings and return to Uttarkashi. Night Stay: Uttarkashi
- Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (220 Km / Approx 8-9 Hr Journey): Drive straight to Guptkashi via Moolgarh & Lambgoan. En route, you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini river comes from Kedarnath and flows alongside the river to reach Guptakashi. On arrival, check in at the Hotel, and overnight stay at the Hotel. Night Stay: Guptkashi
- Day 6: Guptkashi to Kedarnath Dham via Sonprayag(30 Km / Approx 1 Hr Journey by Road and 19 Km Trek): Early morning, after breakfast, start your journey to Kedarnath From Sonprayag, you have to take a local jeep to Gaurikund & then your trek starts for Kedarnath Dham. You can complete the trek of 19 km by walking/horse/Doli/Helicopter. By reaching Kedarnath Dham, perform your rituals/Darshan and enjoy the beauty of Kedar valley. Night Stay: Kedarnath Dham
- Day 7: Kedarnath Dham to Guptkashi via Sonprayag (19 Km Trek And 30 km / Approx 1 Hr Journey by Road): Early morning, reach temple by 4:00 am for ‘Abhishek’ to Kedar Shiva. Everyone can go inside the Garbha Griha and witness the presence of the lord at that time. You can also prostrate with your head touching the deity, etc. After Temple Darshan, trek down to Sonprayag and further drive to Guptkashi. Night Stay: Guptkashi
- Day 8: Guptkashi to Badrinath Dham (215 Km / Approx 7 Hr Journey): Early morning, drive to Badrinath Dham. Pilgrims, after having a bath in the Taptkund, have the Darshan of Badrivishal & Aarti in the evening. Night Stay: Badrinath Dham.
- Day 9: Badrinath Dham to Mana Village (5 Km / Approx 15 Min Journey): Early morning, pilgrims, after having a bath in the Taptkund, have the Darshan of Badrivishal. Post darshan, you can visit the last village of India (Mana), where you can visit Ganesh & Vyas Gufa, Saraswati River Temple, and the Starting point of the Swargrohini yatra. - Day 10: Badrinath Dham to Dehradun (353 Km / Approx 12 Hr Journey): Early morning, start your journey back to Haridwar, including sightseeing.
